The dates and location for the 2010 International Pairs World Final have been confirmed subsequent to International Pairs concluding an agreement with The De Vere hotel group to host the event.

The 2010 International Pairs World Final will be held at The Carrick on Loch Lomond as part of a new agreement between the world’s largest competition of its kind for club golfers and leading hotel group De Vere.
Ross Honey, founder and managing director of International Pairs, has finalised a deal with the hoteliers for them to become one of the event‘s chief sponsors.

The locations for the 2010 International Pairs regional finals have been confirmed.

 

This year the regional finals will be staged at 6 locations throughout England. The top THREE pairs from each regional will go through to compete at the UK final.

 

Southern regionals

The Players Club, Avon – including Wales

Wokefield Park, Berkshire

 

Midland regionals

Belton Woods, Lincolnshire

Mottram Hall, Cheshire

 

Northern regionals

Slaley Hall, Northumberland – including Scotland

Oulton Hall, Yorkshire

The world of International Pairs golf will be broadcast into more than 350 million households in Asia in the next two months as the reputation of the global tournament continues to expand.

In a massive development for the world’s largest tournament of its kind for club golfers, major sports television broadcasters ESPN and Star Sports have agreed to screen 64 hours of footage from International Pairs’ World Final Series across the continent.

Canadian teenagers Marilyne Cadieux and Saby Dagenais scored a victory for lady golfers all over the world by becoming the first ever women to win the International Pairs World Final 2009 at Carnoustie.
Marilyne, 19, and Saby, 17, claimed their own special place in the global competition’s history by beating 27 other teams - including 25 all-male partnerships - to be crowned world champions in the 36-hole event.
