VisitScotland have been working with the global competition for the last five years. Ewan Colville, VisitScotland's marketing manager for North America/Asia Pacific, said: "VisitScotland and International Pairs have a long-standing relationship and we are both committed to helping the competition develop all over the world.
"The tournament creates both an economic boost and a platform to showcase the best Scottish golf courses and hotels to the rest of the world and this is a relationship we are keen to continue and develop further over the next few years."
The International Pairs has been working in close tandem with VisitScotland since 2003, when the UK final was first hosted at St. Andrews Bay. Since then, the final qualifying rounds of the UK event have been held at various courses around the country, bringing an estimated 1.3 million pounds worth of tourism revenue into Scotland, according to a VisitScotland report.
The International Pairs also received recognition for its work with VisitScotland in 2005 by being nominated for two Scottish Thistle Awards - the Events and Festivals award and the Small Business Marketing Initiative.
International Pairs founder Ross Honey said: "We have enjoyed working with VisitScotland over the last five years and believe that our partnership will become stronger in the years to come.
