International Pairs has expanded from a golf tournament being run at a local golf club in Portsmouth England and in 10 years become the largest golf tournament of it kind in the world. In 2008 International Pairs will be running events in nearly 30 countries with 72% of all golfers worldwide represented by their National Champions In St. Andrews Scotland at the televised World Final.
One of the reasons for the successful and continued growth is understanding from the outset that International Pairs is a global tournament run nationally. INTERNATIONAL PAIRS GLOBAL INTRODUCTION
International Pairs is the largest competition of its kind for club golfers in the world. To date over 500,000 golfers from 52 countries are competing in our tournaments across the globe. Our events have the backing of the English Golf union, South African Golf Union and The Scottish Golf Union. The Tournament is approved by Royal & Ancient for payment of expenses and have been the only competition endorsed by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators.

International Pairs is a tournament based concept that starts at the local club level and ends at a World Class tournament in St. Andrews, Scotland-the home of golf.
 EVENT STRUCTURE
STEP 1
Master License holders work with local private and public courses to organize International Pairs qualifying tournaments that are open to men’s, ladies and mixed teams of two with valid handicaps.
STEP 2
Local club winners move on to compete in Regional/National Final.
STEP 3
The winning team from the Regional/National Final then moves on to represent their country at the World Final in St. Andrews, Scotland.
